Hardik Pandya said in a conversation with Star Sports, ‘I worked a lot on my fitness. Every morning I woke up at 5 and then trained at 4 in the evening. I have slept for four months at 9.30 pm so that I can get complete rest. I have made a lot of sacrifices and I am satisfied as a cricketer after getting the results.

Hardik Pandya further said, ‘I am very happy after entering the Indian team. Playing for the country is always a special experience. Coming back after such a long time and doing well again, it seems that my hard work has paid off. Whatever series and match you play is as important as your last match. World Cup is the target for me but it is the right platform to prepare for it. Cricket will go on continuously, so you have to be in rhythm always. Pandya further said that he wants to do well in the T20 series. He said, ‘This is an opportunity for me to prove myself in the T20 series. My role has changed and I am no longer the captain and neither am I batting high. Now what Hardik is known for is back.
