Siraj will be seen in the remaining 2 T20 matches against South Africa. The second match will be played in Guwahati and the third match will be played in Indore. Actually, Bumrah complained of back pain during the practice session before the start of the series, after which he has been out of this series.

Now the BCCI medical team is keeping an eye on Jasprit Bumrah’s injury. Bumrah is suffering from a back stress fracture. There is also news that he may also be out of the T20 World Cup.

Bumrah will take a long time

According to media reports, it may take 4 to 6 months for Bumrah to recover. Bumrah has struggled with this injury before and once again his stress fracture has created trouble for India. India’s star bowler made a comeback after a long rest in the three-match T20I series against Australia.

Actually, Bumrah was on a two-month rest after returning from the England tour. He also spent time in NCA. After this he returned to the field in the second T20 match against Australia in the same month, but after playing 2 matches, he got injured again.

Siraj played last T20 match in February

Talking about Siraj, his last T20 match for India was against Sri Lanka on 27 February 2022. Since then also he was out of the T20 team. Siraj, who played 5 T20 matches for India, was already being considered as a substitute for Bumrah. It was also said that from the start of the series against South Africa, the selectors were put on standby to start working on Bumrah’s replacement.
