The three-match ODI series between India and Zimbabwe is starting from August 18. Team India is going in this series without many senior players including its captain Rohit Sharma. The team for the tour was announced a few days back and senior batsman Shikhar Dhawan was made the captain of the team. Dhawan had earlier captained the team in the ODI series on the West Indies tour as well. However, now the BCCI has also decided to send KL Rahul on this tour. Not only this, the selectors have given the responsibility of captaincy from Dhawan to Rahul as he is the vice-captain of the team. However, Dhawan’s fans have not liked this thing and they say that it is an insult to a senior batsman like Dhawan. Are these allegations true? Is it right to take away the captaincy from Dhawan? Understand this discussion.
