Virat Kohli will play his 100th test match in Mohali

On February 15, the BCCI has changed the schedule of the T20I series and Test series to be held between India and Sri Lanka (IND vs SRI). Due to which Virat is now going to play his 100th Test match in Mohali. It is worth noting that the first Sri Lankan tour was to begin with a Test series from February 26, the first match of which was to be played at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Which would also have been Virat Kohli’s 100th Test match. But everything changed due to the change in schedule.

Now the Indian tour of Sri Lanka will not start with the Test series but with the T20I series. After which the Test series will start from March 4. According to the new schedule, both the teams will play their first Test match not in Bangalore but in Mohali. Due to which Virat Kohli will not be able to play his 100th Test match in Bangalore.

Let us tell you that by the way, Virat’s homeground is the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, which was earlier also known as Feroz Shah Kotla. But Virat has been associated with Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL since 2008 and he has been playing cricket at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore for 14 years. In such a situation, Chinnaswamy is also a homeground of Virat, where he was going to play his 100th Test match. However, due to the change in the schedule, this will not happen now and now Virat Kohli will play his 100th Test match against Sri Lanka in Mohali.
