The Indian cricket team wants to prepare itself completely for the T20 World Cup to be held in Australia in October-November this year. Just before the World Cup, Team India will play some big matches to test its preparations and after several days of speculation, now its official announcement has also been made. The Board of Control for Cricket in India has told that the Indian team will play a total of 6 T20 and 3 ODI series against Australia and South Africa in September. BCCI has announced its schedule.

Team India will play the series against these two countries in India itself, which will start from 20 September and will run till 11 October. The hectic schedule will begin with a three-match T20I series against Australia, which will be played on September 20, 23 and 25 in Mohali, Nagpur and Hyderabad respectively.

After dealing with world champion Australia, only three match T20 series between India and South Africa will start from 28 September. These matches will be played in Thiruvananthapuram on 28 September, Guwahati on 2 October and Indore on 4 October. This will be the second T20 series between the two teams within four months. Earlier in June, there was a 5-match series between the two teams in India itself. However, in this series, Team India will come with its full strength.
