Tilak Verma won the hearts of cricket fans and experts by performing a record-breaking performance in his very first season. In the debut season, he has beaten big players like Rishabh Pant, Prithvi Shaw and Sanju Samson.

Mumbai Indians may have become the first team to be out of IPL 2022 but this franchise has got a big player in Tilak Verma in the current season. Tilak Verma has also beaten the talented players of the current era with his performance. It is being talked about players like Rishabh Pant, Sanju Samson and Prithvi Shaw, who are one of the most talented young players in India in the current era, but 19-year-old Tilak Verma has even surpassed them in terms of performance.

Tilak Verma has scored 368 runs in 12 matches in his debut IPL season itself. This is the best performance of any young player in IPL. Earlier in the year 2017, Rishabh Pant had scored 366 runs in 14 innings and Tilak has overtaken him. Prithvi Shaw scored 353 runs in the year 2019 and Sanju Samson scored 339 runs in 2014.

Tilak Verma still has 2 more matches to play and he can easily touch the 400-run mark. The big thing is that he is also the biggest ‘run’ hero of Mumbai Indians this season. Tilak Verma’s batting average is more than 40 and the strike rate is also beyond 132.

Tilak Verma’s batting has made Mumbai Indians and Team India captain Rohit Sharma his admirer. Rohit Sharma has even said that Tilak Verma can soon be seen playing in Team India. He is a player of all three formats. Meaning now Team India is not far away for Tilak Verma.

Let us tell you that Tilak Verma was bought by Mumbai Indians for 1.7 crores. The interesting thing is that this player from Hyderabad does not even have his own house. His family lives in a rented house. Father’s salary is very less but Tilak has earned both money and fame from his performance.
