In the Indian Premier League (IPL), once again the shadow of match-fixing and betting has started looming. This type of case has come to the fore again in the world’s biggest T20 league, which has always been a target of bookies and once a victim of this heinous crime. India’s top investigative agency, the CBI, has made several arrests on Saturday 14 May on the charges of match-fixing and betting in the IPL. According to the information, so far a case has been registered against 7 accused in this case. At the same time, in search of this syndicate spread on a large scale, the agency is raiding 7 places in 4 cities including Delhi, Hyderabad.
