These are the rules for the playoffs
According to the rules of IPL, an additional time of 120 minutes has been fixed for every playoff match. That is, 120 minutes will be left to complete the match after the scheduled time. If rain comes on the day of the playoff match and there is a problem in starting the match, then if the match starts till 9:45 pm, then the number of overs The number will not be cut and the match will be of full 20 overs. In such a situation, there will only be a break of 10 minutes between the innings.
After this if the match happens then the number of overs will be cut. If necessary, the number of overs can be reduced to a maximum of five overs per innings. The match of five overs per innings will be held from 11:56 pm. BCCI has also fixed the end time of this match, which will be till 12:50. Its cut off time is 12: 26 hrs. There will be no reserve day for the playoffs.

These rules are for the final
Even on the day of the final, if the match is delayed due to rain or bad weather, then if the match starts till 10:10 pm, then there will be no reduction in the number of overs. During this, the break between the innings will be of 10 minutes. A reserve day has been arranged for the final. But this reserve day is a day later. That is, if the final is not held on May 28, then the match will be played on May 30. The match will start at eight o’clock on the reserve day. Extra 120 minutes will be there to finish the match even on the reserve day.
If the final starts and after at least one over the match is not finished on the same day i.e. 28 May, then this match will end on the reserve day. The next day the match will start from where it stopped earlier. But if the toss happens on the final day and the match does not happen, then the match will start from the beginning on the reserve day, that is, the toss will also happen again and the playing-11 will also be selected again.

What if the match doesn’t happen?
IPL If there is a problem in completing the match in the final, then both the teams will play a super over. The team that wins in this will become the winner. But if in any case the final match is not completed then after 70 matches the team which will be on the top position in the league stage will be the winner.
