Aiman's father Hassan Jamal is a businessman while his mother Afroz Bano is a teacher.  Aiman, a resident of Mohalla Khoonipur in Gorakhpur, was posted as Deputy Labor Welfare Commissioner in Shahjahanpur before becoming IPS.  The day he was joining in Shahjahanpur, the very next day the result was declared by UPSC.

Aiman ​​studied at Carmel Girls Inter College from primary to 12th standard.  Passed High School with 63 percent marks in 2004 and Intermediate with 69 percent marks in 2006.  Passed the graduation examination in 2010 with Zoology from St. Andrews College.
