Jack Dorsey’s Bitcoin Academy to run a free course on crypto knowledge

Jack Dorsey, the founder of microblogging site Twitter, and music artist Jay-Z have decided to launch a free course on cryptocurrencies. For this he has started ‘Bitcoin Academy’. It will conduct a series of classes on crypto trading and mining.

These free crypto classes will be conducted both online and offline. Crypto Expert Najah J Roberts of Crypto Blockchain Plug and Software Developer Lamar Wilson will play a key role in this course. Its holder, Sina Estavi, tried to resell it a few months back but got the highest bid of only $280. Dorsey has resigned as the chief executive officer of Twitter.

Dorsey last year responded to a tweet from Grammy-winning female rapper Cardi B. Bitcoin was said to be a better option than the dollar. This was followed by a flurry of reactions on Twitter. He has also suggested before that bitcoin could become a global currency for the internet. Dorsey handles digital payments firm Block. He started this firm in 2009. Dorsey had revealed that Block plans to build a bitcoin mining system based on custom silicon and open source. The system will tie in with the firm’s existing bitcoin-based projects, which include creating an open developer platform, as well as a hardware wallet for cryptocurrencies.
