While Saturday is expected to be a better day for ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’, it has to be seen how much bounce it gets. Weekend collections will indicate the lifetime run of the film.
Ranveer Singh (Ranveer Singh) Recently released film ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ ,Jayeshbhai Jordaar, It has not been a big hit at the box office, at least not on the first day. According to trade reports, the film had a poor opening on Friday, collecting only Rs 3 crore across India. These numbers are quite disappointing for a Ranveer starrer film, even though this film is a mid-budget venture. Its opening day grosses are much lower than expected, and trade analysts say that they are not sure if it will even break even.
Ranveer’s film ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ has a very poor start
Jayeshbhai Jordaar, directed by new director Divyang Thakkar, stars Ranveer Singh as a simple Gujarati man who has to fight with his orthodox family to save his unborn daughter. Apart from Ranveer Singh, Shalini Pandey, Boman Irani and Ratna Pathak Shah are also in the lead roles in this film.
According to a report by BoxOfficeIndia.com, “Jayeshbhai Jordaar had a sluggish opening day as it raked in just Rs 3 crore net range and this film has the same story as the previous films that it was almost in the same 3”. Has been around the opening of crores. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh has also tweeted about the opening day collection of the film.
#JayeshbhaiJordaar has a shockingly low start on Day 1… Day 2 and 3 very crucial… Fri ₹ 3.25 cr. #India biz. pic.twitter.com/THTPjHYLeV

This puts the Ranveer-starrer in the same bracket as some other disappointing film opening days recently. All films like Attack, Jersey and Runway 34 earned almost the same amount in their first days at the box office.
Industry experts argue that this sluggish performance of most films in the post-pandemic period is due to the reluctance of the audience to watch the delayed content. There are many films releasing these days which have been stalled for months or years due to the pandemic.
There may be a jump in the collection on the weekend
While Saturday is expected to be a better day for ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’, it has to be seen how much bounce it gets. Weekend collections will indicate the lifetime run of the film. If there is no jump in the collection of the film on the weekend, then it should also be expected that this film will soon go off the big screen and then move towards the small screen. Because no film of Ranveer Singh has suffered as bad as ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’.
