Jeep India Sale: 130% jump in Jeep sales, Audi expects better business this year

Jeep India has registered a growth of 130 per cent in terms of vehicle sales despite the ups and downs last year. The company is also positive about the domestic vehicle industry this year and is preparing to launch new models. Nipun Mahajan, head of Jeep India, full of optimism about the scenario of the domestic auto industry, predicted that the market would grow further despite the concerns over the Omicron variant of the corona virus. Jeep India sold 5,282 vehicles in 2020 and 12,136 vehicles in 2021 registering a growth of 130 percent.

Compass and Wrangler are manufactured in India

The company’s two major models Compass and Wrangler are manufactured in India. The Compass has been manufactured at the Ranjangaon plant near Pune since June 2017 and the local assembly of the Wrangler has started from mid-March last year here. Mahajan said, “We are optimistic about the outlook given the market militancy.”

Audi India expects bumper sales this year

German luxury car company Audi is expecting a strong double digit growth in its sales in the Indian market this year. Along with this, Audi India is preparing to bring many new models in the Indian market this year. The company is going to launch the SUV Q7 next month. The company believes that the new products will increase its sales in the Indian market.

Balbir Singh Dhillon, head of Audi India, said, “If the situation does not worsen due to corono, then I am confident that this year we will register strong double-digit growth in the Indian market.” He said that from Audi’s point of view. If you see, our growth will continue. Last year we have registered a growth of about 101 per cent.

Sales doubled in 2021 compared to the year 2020

The company introduced the SUV Q5 in November, whose deliveries have started from December. Dhillon said that we are also going to launch the new Q7. He said that like last year, in the current year also we are positive about our growth. He told that Audi India will launch many new products this year. “It is not that we will not bring new products this year. This year will also be very active for us in terms of new offerings.” Audi India retail sales doubled to 3,293 units in 2021. In 2020, the company sold 1,639 vehicles.
