Now slowly the time was changing, so in the year 1936, he was inclined towards communist ideology. Kaifi was troubled by religious conservatism, caste religion was being talked about everywhere. Due to this, Kaifi himself was surrounded by questions. In such a situation, this ideology helped him in finding solutions to the problems. During this, he decided that whatever he writes now will act as an inspiration for the society, it will spread everywhere like a message.
This is how ‘love’ was met
In 1943, the Communist Party entrusted him with important responsibility in the Mumbai office. Coming here, Kaifi started editing the Urdu Journal Mazdoor Mohalla. During this time he met a girl – Shaukat. Shaukat and Kaifi’s eyes met and fell in love. Actually, Shaukat had liked Kaifi’s writing. She got caught in the web of his words and did not know when she fell in love with him. Shaukat was from a wealthy family. At the same time, she was also of literary culture. In such a situation, both of them started to settle down well and then both decided to get married. Kaifi Azmi and Shaukat got married in May 1947. Shaukat was deeply in love with Kaifi, in such a situation she was ready to live with poor Kaifi at any cost. In such a situation, after marriage, Shaukat had to live with Kaifi in a place where the washroom was used for sharing. Still he adjusted. Later, Shabana Azmi and Baba Azmi were also born here.

Gradually, Kaifi increased his work and came to Mumbai. Here he worked for the first time in the film ‘Bujdil’ in the year 1951. In this film, he impressed everyone with his writing. After this, slowly in films, he wrote writings ranging from romantic to emotional. Kaifi Azmi’s position started here and then he bought a bungalow in Juhu. Born from the land of Uttar Pradesh, this priceless gem went missing somewhere in the year 2002 on 10th May. It is said that when Kaifi Azmi was leaving his life, at that time a part of his creation came out of his mouth – ‘Yeh Duniya Yeh Mehfil is not my work..’
