Board examinations postponed in Assam

The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) has decided to postpone the High School Living Certificate (HSLC) or Class 10 examination (Assam HSLC Exam 2021) due to the increasing number of COVID-19 cases across the country. SEBA chairman RC Jain confirmed the postponement on Tuesday and said that new dates will be announced soon.

The HSLC exams were scheduled to begin on May 11 and run on June 1. At the same time, the results of HSLC, HS examination were to be declared between 7 and 30 July respectively. Confirming the decision of the board, a SEBA official said that the HSLC and High Madrasa examinations conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Assam have been postponed in view of the Kovid-19 status in the state.
