KKR’s Kovid positive player’s wife is doctor, sister

The 30th match of IPL 2021 was postponed after two players from Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) got infected. In which KKR fast bowler Sandeep Warrier and spinner Varun Chakraborty Kovid came positive. Sandeep Warrier’s sister is undergoing treatment

The Corona report of Kolkata Knight Riders pacer Sandeep Warrier came positive on Monday, due to which he is in isolation. But do you know that Sandeep’s sister is associated with the medical profession and she has been working in the Corona ward since March when the first wave of Corona arrived in India last year and is engaged in treating patients.

Sandeep’s wife Aarti Kasturi Raj is also a doctor. Apart from this, Aarti has also represented India in the World Roller Games. He has won around 130 international and national titles.

Warriors are with KKR since 2019

Tamil Nadu fast bowler Sandeep Warrier was paired with Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2019. The Warriors have been part of the franchise since then. Prior to this he was a part of Royal Challengers Bangalore from IPL 2013-2015. But for RCB, he did not get a chance to play a single match.

At the same time, Sandeep has played 4 matches for KKR, in which he has taken 2 wickets at an economy of 7.93 and an average of 59.50. The Warriors had not made it to the Final Eleven so far this season.
