New Delhi: India recently had to face defeat in the three-match ODI series at the hands of Australia. Australia had named this series 2-1. Australia was captained by Steve Smith in this series as Pat Cummins did not play in this series due to the death of his mother. Off spinner of Indian team Ravichandran Ashwin Has liked Smith’s captaincy in this series. Ashwin has said that the way Smith framed Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya, the match turned towards Australia.
Kohli and Pandya were trying to hit inside out on Australian spinner Ashton Agar but due to the pitch, they were not able to succeed in it. Smith notices this and asks Agar to bowl continuously outside the off-stump.

Smith showed cleverness
Ashwin praised Smith’s captaincy on his YouTube channel and said that the pitch was stopping a bit when Adam Zampa and Agar were bowling. All the balls were not turning. Some balls were stopping and some balls were staying straight. Ashwin said that Virat and Pandya were trying to hit over extra cover and the ball was not going to the long-off fielder. Ashwin said that then he noticed that Smith was telling Agar from first slip that Keep bowling outside the off stump.
Ashwin said that for this reason Smith had called David Warner standing at long off a little further. This trick of Smith had worked. Egar had given a big blow to India by catching Kohli at the hands of Warner and in the same over he also dismissed Suryakumar Yadav.
