After the end of the Commonwealth Games, now Indian players started returning to the country. The players who returned after unfurling the tricolor in Birmingham are getting a warm welcome. All the players reached their respective states from Birmingham. In such a situation, there was a view of celebration at the airports. Wrestlers were welcomed with flowers and garlands
All the wrestlers of India returned after winning medals. There was an influx of welcome at the Delhi airport. Sakshi Malik, Ravi Dahiya, Divya Kakran, Deepan Punia were all given a very warm welcome. As soon as the players came out of the airport, people ran towards them carrying garlands of flowers. The crowd was so much that the players could not even find a place to set foot. Ravi Dahiya was seated on his shoulders by his fans and till the end he sat like that. Meanwhile, the sound of drums was coming all over the airport.
Lakshya Sen, who returned after winning the gold medal in the men’s badminton section, also got a great welcome. Apart from his family, coach, a large number of fans also reached the airport. Lakshya was given bouquets of flowers. Hearing the sound of the drum, even Lakshya could not stop himself and started doing Bhangra. He then took out the medals from the bag and handed them over to his father and the coach. Both looked very emotional after seeing the medal.

Jeremy’s family gets emotional
Weightlifter Jeremy Lalnirunga also reached his home in Aizawl after spending some time in Delhi. Jeremy’s family appeared to welcome him along with the state’s Sports Minister, ML of Aizawl. Jeremy’s family could not stop themselves from winning the gold medal around the son’s neck. He hugged Jeremy and started crying. Indian athletes who reached Bangalore also received a strong welcome. Avinash Sable, Abdullah Abubakar and Eldahal Paul were also welcomed by the fans by garlanding them. After this he reached the Ganesh temple near Sai Center.
