LG will now make dual inverter AC compressors in India

LG has started local manufacturing line of dual inverter air conditioner compressors at its Greater Noida manufacturing plant under Make in India mission. With the launch of this new line, LG becomes the first brand in India to have its own dual inverter air conditioner compressor.

100 crore investment

The new plant, equipped with advanced technology and machinery, with an investment of around Rs 100 crore and an annual production capacity of over 1 million, is set to manufacture Dual Inverter Air Conditioner Compressor. This new plant will further strengthen the company to become the market leader in the industry.

LG Hyunjin Lee, Manufacturing MD, Electronics India said, “We have been consistently serving the Indian market for the last 25 years. Continuously providing the latest products and technology to the consumers. We are fully aligned with the Prime Minister’s vision of Make in India and we are continuously expanding local manufacturing. Recently we have started manufacturing Side by Side refrigerators at our Pune manufacturing plant. Now we have started Dual Inverter Air Conditioner Compressor manufacturing line at Greater Noida Manufacturing Plant. LG Electronics aims to make India a powerful manufacturing hub. We have invested around Rs.100 crores in setting up this air conditioner compressor manufacturing line. We are continuously working towards strengthening local programs.
