To use the service, policyholders must first register on the LIC India website and then send the message “Hi” to +91-8976862090 from their registered mobile number on WhatsApp to access the chatbot and opt for services.
LIC says the service is designed to be fast, secure and convenient, allowing policyholders access to information at the click of a button.
