Former Zimbabwe captain Tatendo Taibu has turned 39. He has made many big records in his 11 year career.

Former Zimbabwe captain Tatendu Taibo is such a player who debuted in the international team while studying in school and then set many more records.  Today i.e. on May 14, Tatendu is celebrating his 39th birthday.

Taibo made his debut in international cricket at a very young age.  In 2001, he made his debut for Zimbabwe in both Test and ODI formats while he was studying in school.  After this he also made a record in the test format.  (ICC)

Tatendu (2) In 2004, when he became the captain of Zimbabwe's Test team, his age was 20 years and 358 days.  Due to this he became the youngest Test captain.  He broke the record of Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi of India.  The record was held for about 15 years.  Then in 2019, when Rashid Khan became the captain of Afghanistan at the age of 20 years and 350 days, his record was broken.

After which Tyboo made many allegations against the Zimbabwe Cricket Board.  After this press conference, Taibo received death threats from the Mugabe government and as a result, Taibo retired from International Cricket (ICC).
