Started at the age of 12, then made up my mind to leave
Neetu started boxing at the age of 12. But she was not able to be much successful in the initial years. According to the report of Olympic.com, Neetu had made up her mind to quit boxing. But his father did not allow him to do so. Then her father Jai Bhagwan Singh made a big sacrifice for his daughter. Neetu’s father used to work in Haryana Rajya Sabha. He took three years of leave without pay to take his daughter forward so that he could see her succeed. After this, he started farming on his small land and also took a loan of six lakh rupees.
He used to take good care of Neetu’s coaching, training and diet. During this, Jagdish Singh saw Neetu and took her in his coaching. He is the same coach who established Bhiwani Boxing Club and brought out Vijender Singh. Neetu used to travel 40 kilometers to go to this club. His father used to bring him sitting on his scooter.

started getting success
father’s sacrifice Neetu The hard work started paying off again. In 2015, he won a medal in State Level Competition of Haryana. But then she got injured. Here again her father helped her and made every possible effort to cure her daughter. He made a comeback in 2016 and won a medal at the Youth Nationals. He got his first success at the international level at the Strandja Memorial. Here he won the gold medal in the 48 kg weight category. After this, he won the gold medal in the Commonwealth Games held in Birmingham last year and now he has created panic by becoming the world champion. Till now Neetu has won gold medal in the tournaments in which she has participated for the first time at the international level.
