Mahindra XUV300 Electric SUV EV launch date revealed, know what the company said

Amidst the growing market of electric vehicles, many companies are planning to launch their vehicles in this segment. Mahindra has announced that it will launch an electric version of the XUV300 SUV in India in the third or fourth quarter of 2023. The company has said that it will lay out its complete EV strategy in the coming days. Mahindra has always had an advantage in the Indian EV space, but lack of product innovation and lack of aggressiveness has led other brands to dominate the segment. These include companies like Tata Motors, Hyundai and MG Motors. Maruti Suzuki is also preparing to launch its WagonR EV in the Indian market soon. However, through the new electric vehicle lineup, Mahindra is moving ahead with the target of regaining its old position.

According to media reports, the company had also showcased the e-KUV100 at the Auto Expo of Cars a few years back. However, the production of the micro SUV has not started yet. The Mahindra XUV300 SUV electric vehicle that has been announced to be launched in the year 2023 is going to compete with many important vehicles. These include vehicles like Tata Nexon EV, MG ZS EV and Hyundai Kona EV.

At present, the electric vehicles from which Mahindra is showing power in the market include the e-Verito compact electric sedan. This electric vehicle is available to government agencies and fleet operators.

Mahindra Group Managing Director and CEO Anish Shah said that the company will now focus on the three- and four-wheeler electric segment. A detailed EV product strategy will be announced soon. This indicates that the e-KUV100 may be launched in the near future.

He said that we had announced our plans for electric cars. We will launch the fully electric XUV300 in the third or fourth quarter of 2023. Portfolio plan for electric vehicles in India will be announced soon. The company has also told that there is an increase in demand now compared to 2021. However, due to the chip crisis, the production of the company has also been affected.
