20 out of 30 on Sensex and 38 out of 50 on Nifty closed with gains. Nifty Pharma was the biggest gainer of 1.20 percent in the Nifty Sectoral Index. Weakness in Rupee The Nifty IT index gained 0.98 per cent.

Despite a weak start, on Thursday, 09 June 2022, the decline in the domestic stock market for four consecutive days stopped. Buying in IT, Pharma, Banking and FMCG stocks at the end of trading Sensex ,Sensex) and Nifty50 closed with a rise. Sensex climbed 427.79 points to close at 55,320.28 while Nifty jumped 122 points to close at 16,478.25 level. 20 out of 30 on Sensex and 38 out of 50 on Nifty closed with gains. Nifty Pharma was the biggest gainer of 1.20 percent in the Nifty Sectoral Index. Weakness in Rupee The Nifty IT index gained 0.98 per cent.
In today’s trade, buying was seen in midcap and smallcap shares along with Lajcap. The BSE Midcap index closed up 0.46 per cent. While the BSE Smallcap index gained 0.24 percent.
