Airtel also ready to bring 5G services
At the same time, the country’s leading telecom service company Bharti Airtel said on Monday after bidding for spectrum worth Rs 43,084 crore in the spectrum auction that it is in a good position to start the 5G revolution in the country. Airtel has bagged a total spectrum of 19,867.8 MHz in the bands of 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz, 3300 MHz and 26 GHz during the seven-day auction.
Airtel said in a statement that the acquisition of this large amount of spectrum means that the company does not need to spend any amount on spectrum for many years to come. Describing itself as ready to lead the 5G revolution in India, the company said that it is in a good position to bring this revolution.
