Mumbai Police issued gun license to Salman, received death threats

Salman Khan had applied for a gun license a few days back and had also met Mumbai Police Commissioner Vivek Fansalkar on 22 July in this regard.

Recently Salman Khan was threatened with death by Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan had found a letter lying on the bench while doing his morning walk in which he and his son and actor Salman Kan had been written about the death. After this incident came to the fore, Salman Khan applied for a gun license for his self-defense, which has now been issued to him by the Mumbai Police.

A senior official has confirmed this on Sunday. Salman Khan had applied for a gun license a few days back and had also met Mumbai Police Commissioner Vivek Fansalkar on 22 July in this regard. On the condition of anonymity, the IPS officer said that the representative of Salman Khan obtained the license from the branch concerned with the police headquarters. After taking the acknowledgment of that person, the license was handed over to him.
