Nari Contractor was torn 60 years ago by a dangerous bouncer

Indian cricketer Nari Contractor had to face a circumcised bouncer during the tour of West Indies in 1962. In which he was badly injured. Charlie Griffith threw a circumcised bouncer ball to Nari Contractor. Which went on his head. Contractor’s head exploded with this bouncer. For which he had to remain unconscious in the hospital for several days. Seeing the poor condition of the woman contractor, the doctors had put a metal plate in her head.

Due to which his metal plate has been removed through surgery in a hospital in Mumbai. While talking to the media, his son Hoshedar told that,

“The operation was successful, father will get well soon. He will stay in the hospital for a few more days. Due to the metal plate, the skin there was getting removed. After which the doctors advised to remove the plate. Our family was in a bit of tension. It was not a major operation but an important one.”
