In the World Boxing Championship, Commonwealth Games gold medalist Neetu won in 48 kg and veteran boxer Sweety Boora won in 81 kg category.

New Delhi. running in delhi world boxing championship Saturday proved to be a golden day for India. Two daughters of the country won the world by winning gold medals. In the final of 48 kg category, Neetu faced Lutsaikhan Altansetseg of Mongolia, whom she defeated 5-0. And in the light heavyweight category of 81 kg, Sweety Boora got the world champion by defeating China’s Wang Lina 4-3. The daughters who have brought laurels to the country are getting best wishes from all over the country.
This time four Indian boxers made it to the finals of the World Championship. Neetu Ghanghas, Sweety Boora, Lovlina Borhogen and Nikhat Zareen assured medals for the country. The final matches of Sweety and Neetu were on Saturday. After the victory of both, from Prime Minister Narendra Modi to actor Abhishek Bachchan congratulated them.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared the video of Sweety’s medal ceremony and congratulated her for the victory. The PM said that this victory of Sweety will inspire the athletes of the future. While sharing the video of Neetu’s final match, the Prime Minister said that the country is very proud of Neetu’s historic victory. Sweety thanked the PM for his greetings, while Neetu wrote on Twitter that PM Narendra Modi’s wishes and blessings are her biggest inspiration.
