NEP 2020: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has made a big announcement under the New Education Policy 2020. The Education Minister said that now the study material up to class 5th will be in 22 different languages. Students up to fifth will now be able to study in their mother tongue. Dharmendra Pradhan said on Tuesday that this decision has been taken under the new education policy. In this NCERT Books of will be added.

The Union Education Minister said that all study material till class 5th will be in 22 languages ​​listed in the constitution. These study materials will include all primary level books, notebooks, playbooks and play-based material. Students will be taught in the regional language through NCERT Books in their school.

Earlier books were in 3 languages

The Education Minister told that earlier books were available in only three languages ​​Hindi, English and Urdu. Now all NCERT books will be available in 22 different languages. Please tell that, under the new education policy, studies up to 12th have been divided into three stages. The initial five years are called the fundamental stage. After this, 3 years i.e. class 6,7 and 8 have been called middle stage.

Students studying up to 8th have to be prepared for the future. The 4 years after class VIII have been called the secondary stage. This includes class 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th. After this students can go for higher studies.

Addressing the Future of Learning program at Anant University, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan gave information about the expansion of the new education policy. He told that children will be able to acquire basic knowledge through mother tongue in the initial year of their studies.
