There is a big change in the rules related to driving from next month. In the new rule, the test for driving license will be exempted. In fact, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) notified the rules for recognized driver training centers. These rules will come into effect from July 1, 2021. Such centers will help the candidates enrolling in getting proper training and information.
Let us tell you that at present the driving test is taken by the Regional Transport Office (RTO). It will help the drivers to obtain driving license after completing the training from such recognized driving training centers.

From July 1, 2021, those applying for driving license will have to take training from Accredited Driver Training Centers. Drivers will be helped to obtain a driving license after completing their training from such recognized driving training centers.
Features of Driving Training Centers-
>> The training center will be equipped with simulators and special driving test track to provide high quality training to the candidates.
>> Remedial and refresher courses can be availed at these centers as per the requirements under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.
>>Candidates who successfully pass the exam at these centers will be exempted from the requirement of driving test while applying for driving license. At present the driving test is conducted by the Regional Transport Office (RTO).
>> Will help drivers to get driving license after completing training from such recognized driving training centers.
>> These centers are also allowed to provide specific training as per the requirement of the industries.
Lack of skilled drivers is one of the major problems in the Indian roadways sector. A large number of road accidents also occur due to lack of knowledge of road rules. Section 8 of the Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Act 2019 empowers the central government to make rules regarding the recognition of driver training centres.
