NFT Specialists at Christie’s Associated with Yuga Labs’ CryptoPunks Project

Noah Davis, a key member of auction firm Christie’s non-fungible token (NFT) project, has announced the launch of his new innings as the brand lead of CryptoPunks, Yuga Labs’ NFT collection, beginning next month. Yuga Labs purchased the intellectual property of the CryptoPunks Collection from Larva Labs in March. Yuga Labs had said that it would transfer commercial rights to its holders but it has not been done.

“If you’re a punk holder and interested in growing this brand, I’d love to talk to you,” Davis said on Twitter. Davis was previously in charge of Beeple’s NFT auctions that sold over $69 million last year. This indicated the potential in the NFT segment. This sale showed that digital art could be bought and sold by large auction firms at higher valuations. Christie decided to auction off more digital tokens after the success of her first NFT sale.

Yuga Labs Popular NFT The collection is created by Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC). The BAYC NFT Project is 10,000 algorithm-generated cartoon illustrations of monkeys and they are all different. Prices of BAYC NFTs had risen by over 25 per cent in March. The popularity of the NFTs of this collection is also increasing among the celebrities. Recently Yuga Labs reported that BAYC NFT holders will be able to purchase new items only using ApeCoin. Recently launched ApeCoin use is increasing.

A part of these tokens is allocated to Yuga Labs but this token is not linked to Yuga Labs as it is created by ApeCoin DAO. ApeCoin DAO helps its community design blockchain games and create physical and virtual merchandise. Some believe that Yuga Labs’ decision to separate from ApeCoin is a step towards decentralisation, while others believe that Yuga Labs has distanced itself from the strictures of the SEC.
