UP NIPUN School Scheme: 44 thousand primary schools of Uttar Pradesh will be given the status of NIPUN School. For this, skill development training will be given in every school.

UP NIPUN School: Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Department recently concluded its first session of Nipuna Assessment Test (NAT) in all government schools of the state. Basic numeracy skills and reading skills were assessed among students of classes 1 to 3 in all 75 districts of UP. To make expert schools in UP, in every district NIPUN Center Will be built.
Under the NIPUN Bharat Scheme, the UP government is trying to popularize NAT to improve the learning methods. After the Corona period, it has been launched for the first time in Hapur with 33% students and Bhadohi, Chandauli, Varanasi with 32% students and Mau district with 29% students between October and December 2022.
How was the NAT Score in Gautam Buddh Nagar?
Information has been given regarding the Aptitude Test (NAT) given by the UP Basic Education Department. According to the official, around 28 per cent students of classes 1 to 3 of government-run upper primary and primary schools in UP’s Gautam Buddh Nagar have secured more than 90% NAT score.

Please tell that, due to the Corona period, the learning process was not fully evaluated in the previous years. Due to this gap, the focus has been on continuous capacity building of teachers, principals, educational resource persons and administrators. The government has renewed its efforts to stabilize the evaluation process and strengthen district-wise evaluation of state schools from now on.
44 thousand schools will get expert status
A target has been set by the UP government to develop proficient schools by December 2023. 44 thousand primary schools of the state will be given the status of NIPUN School. For this, training will be given in every school. Students will be made capable of Skill Development and Numeracy Skills.
