Oben Rorr electric motorcycle with 150 km range seen running on road, see design in picture

The Oben Rorr electric motorcycle was launched in March this year and bookings have been on since then. Although no exact date has been revealed regarding its availability, but this electric motorcycle has been spotted several times during road testing. After being spotted on the road a few weeks ago, once again, the spide shots of the electric bike have surfaced. At the time of launch, the company had shared this information that the Rorr electric motorcycle is capable of generating 62Nm of peak torque, thanks to which it can accelerate from 0-40 kmph in 3.0 seconds. Its range is said to be 150 km.

The Bengaluru-based startup had announced at the time of launch that road testing of the bike would begin in May 2022 and deliveries could start sometime by the end of July. In the shared images, some parts of the electric motorcycle are covered in camouflage. However, the design looks largely identical to the prototype model shown at launch.

In this, Rorr’s futuristic style design is seen. The motorcycle gets round LED headlamps equipped with LED DRLs. The design of the seat has been kept split, which gives it a sporty look. The tail section is raised like on sports bikes. The battery pack is housed under the Fox fuel tank. The electric bike is seen with multi-spoke tyres, which are black alloy wheels.

The Oben Rorr is priced at Rs.1.25 Lakh (ex-showroom) in India. This price includes the Government of India’s FAME-II subsidy. The customer can buy this e-bike as the company’s official Website But you can book for Rs.999.

at launch The company had revealed the specifications of the Rorr electric motorcycle. It gets a permanent magnetic motor, which is capable of producing a peak output of 10kW. Its peak torque is 62Nm. It has a belt drive system. Thanks to all this, this electric bike can accelerate to a top speed of 100 kmph and according to the company’s claim, 0-40 kmph in 3.0 seconds.

It has a fixed battery pack of 4.4kWh capacity, which supports fast charge. The company claims that this pack can be fully charged from zero to full in just two hours with the help of 15A power socket. The good thing is that the company says that it will install the 15A capacity socket at the customer’s home at no extra charge.

The electric bike comes with three riding modes namely Eco, City and Havoc, with speeds limited to 50km/h, 70km/h and 100km/h respectively, but the range also makes a difference. The three modes get a range of 150km, 120km and 100km respectively.

It also gets all the necessary connected features. The bike also gets Bluetooth connectivity, in which the bike can be connected through a special app on the mobile phone. The Rorr electric bike gets 17-inch wheels and disc brakes have been given at the front and rear.<!–
