Boxer Vijender Singh, who won India a bronze medal in boxing at the Beijing Olympics-2008, contested the 2019 Lok Sabha elections but lost, although he continues to be active in politics with the Congress.

Bharat Jodo Yatra of former Congress President and current MP Rahul Gandhi has reached Madhya Pradesh. In the state of Shivraj Singh, Rahul Gandhi will travel 380 kilometers for 12 days. After this he will go to Rajasthan. Many people are joining Rahul Gandhi during this journey and on Friday a star of the Indian sports world took part in the journey with Rahul. (PTI photo)
