US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Tuesday turned to Taiwan amid strong warnings from China. In response to China’s threats, the US has deployed four American warships, including an aircraft ship, in the water. USS Ronald Reagan has crossed the South China Sea and is currently in the Philippines Sea, east of Taiwan and the Philippines, and south of Japan, a US Navy official confirmed Tuesday.
