Osmania University Exam 2022: In view of the increasing cases of Corona, the hostel on the campus has also been ordered to be closed by Osmania University.

Osmania University Exam 2022: In view of the spurt in the cases of Corona and Omicron, Osmania University has postponed the examinations scheduled between January 8 to 16, 2022. A notice has also been issued by the university in this regard. Under the issued notice, the hostels present in the university campus (Osmania University Hostels) have also been ordered to close.

Osmania University will soon release the revised schedule of these examinations. Telangana government has declared holidays for all educational institutions from January 8 to 16, 2022. The closure of schools and colleges in Telangana was announced on 03 January 2022. Students can check the notice by visiting the official notification osmania.ac.in.

Decision taken due to Corona

Osmania University has conducted the examination for various courses and subjects for the candidates who are going to appear in it. Following this decision, Osmania University also decided to close its hostels to avoid any possible transmission of COVID-19.

University Exam 2022 will now be conducted on a different date. With the cases increasing rapidly, these exams are likely to be postponed further. On Sunday, 1,673 new cases of corona virus infection were reported in Telangana. According to the bulletin of the Telangana government, after the arrival of new cases, the total cases increased to 6,94,030. In the last 24 hours, one patient died of Kovid-19 in the state, taking the death toll to 4,042. The bulletin said that 13,522 patients are currently under treatment.

Schools closed in Telangana

Schools and educational institutions in Telangana will remain closed from January 8 to January 16, the Chief Minister’s Office had informed. “Telangana CM K Chandrashekhar Rao has directed all educational institutions in the state to declare a holiday from January 8 to January 16: CMO said. The decision was taken at a meeting convened by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao to review the pandemic situation. The cases of Kovid-19 are increasing rapidly in Telangana.
