Avesh Khan believed that he would get 7 crores during the IPL mega auction. At the same time, they were in flight when the auctions were going on and could not watch the mega auction live. In such a situation, he was very nervous that which franchise would buy him for how much. Avesh Khan told that
“I was on the flight at that time and I was expecting to get seven crore rupees. But since I was in flight, I could not watch the auction live. I was getting nervous thinking about which team would buy me and for how much. After getting off the flight, when I came to know that Lucknow had bought me, I was stuck for five seconds. But then things went back to normal. I said okay.”
