Talking about the top opening films of Bollywood, apart from Pathan, KGF: Chapter 2, the list includes films like War, Thugs of Hindestan, Happy New Year, Bharat and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. All these films earned Rs 40 crore to Rs 53 crore on the first day at the box office.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh has also informed that Pathan has collected Rs 25.05 crore in three national chains of the country – PVR, Cinepolis and Inox till 8.15 pm last night. Pathan’s excitement on the day of release was such that Yash Raj Films decided to start late night shows. These shows started at 12.30 pm across the country.
