PM Kisan: 2000 rupees of PM Kisan will be available sitting at home, there will be no need to go to the bank

Under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, more than 10 crore farmers and farmer families have received a subsidy of Rs 2,000.

PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, a 100% funding based central sector scheme by the Government of India, was started on 1 December 2018. Under this scheme, the families of landholder farmers (including husband, wife and minor children) are directly transferred an assistance amount of Rs 6,000 annually in three installments of Rs 2000-2000 each to their bank accounts.

Farmers can withdraw money sitting at home

Elaborating on this, Sanjeev Kumar, Co-Founder and CEO, Spice Money said, “At Spice Money, we are striving to solve the problem of access to banking and financial services in rural India. After the 11th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi is distributed, our 10 lakh officers working on 18,500 pin codes will help in ensuring easy access and withdrawal of this subsidy to the right 10 crore beneficiaries of this scheme.

Farmers and farmer families will no longer have to travel long distances to reach bank branches or have money lying idle in their accounts in times of need. Our officers, trusted banking partners in their communities, will be present in villages to help farmers withdraw their money with the help of AEPS, thereby providing them secure access to subsidy funds.
