PM SHRI Scheme 2023: Under PM Shri Yojana, 9000 schools across the country have been selected. The list of selected schools will be released soon by the Ministry of Education.

PM SHRI Scheme 2023: About 9,000 schools from across the country have been shortlisted for the Pradhan Mantri School for Rising India (PM SHRI). These included Kendriya Vidyalaya and Navodaya Vidyalaya, which were found eligible to apply. The names of the selected schools will be released soon by the Union Ministry of Education.

According to PTI, officials told that they were evaluated on the basis of six broad parameters. Curriculum, pedagogy and assessment, access and infrastructure, gender equality, management, monitoring, governance and beneficiary satisfaction were the parameters covered.

List will be released soon

The list of names of 9000 shortlisted schools for the scheme will be released soon. According to the MOE officials, around 9000 schools have been shortlisted. We are very satisfied with them and will announce the names of the schools very soon.

What is PM Shree Yojana?

PM Shree School is a central government scheme, the objective of which is to upgrade government schools run by state governments and convert them into model schools. Along with providing quality education to the students in these schools, they will also be given skill training. A total of more than 14500 schools across the country will be developed under the scheme.

7 states have not yet signed MoU

Seven states are yet to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the education ministry to upgrade their schools under the PM Shree scheme, which was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 5 last year.

Center has approached authorities in seven states and union territories, mainly Delhi, West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Jharkhand, urging them to come forward and adopt the scheme and ensure quality education for all students Have done.
