According to the survey findings, a third of those who have experienced violence or harassment at the workplace have experienced at least one form of it. At the same time, 6.3 percent people said that they faced physical, psychological and sexual violence and harassment at the workplace.

Harassment is more with men

According to the report, the maximum number of cases of psychological violence and harassment were reported. 17.9 percent of the employees experienced it sometime during their work. About 8.5 percent of the people surveyed said that they faced physical violence and harassment at the workplace. The number of men who suffer this type of harassment is more than that of women.

Apart from this, about 6.3 percent people have been victims of sexual violence and harassment, of which 8.2 percent are women and 5 percent are men. The survey found that people who experienced discrimination on the basis of gender, physical disability, nationality, ethnicity, color or religion at some point in their lives were also more likely to be victims of violence or harassment in the workplace than other people. .
