Left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh, who made his international debut in England last year, now wants to improve his game with the red ball as well and has got a good chance to play in the County Championship of England.
In the last few years, the Indian cricket team has also looked powerful on foreign lands due to the increasing influence of its fast bowlers. For this effect to continue even further, coach Rahul Dravid has already started the campaign to prepare future pacers according to Test cricket. Within the last one year, left-arm fast bowler Arshdeep Singh, who has made a mark on the basis of his effective bowling in T20 format, will take part in the County Championship on the tour of England this year. Before Arshdeep, Rahul Dravid himself also played county cricket for this club. (PTI)
England’s famous county cricket club Kent has announced this. “Kent Cricket is delighted to announce that India international bowler Arshdeep Singh will be available to represent the team in five County Championship matches between June and July,” the club said in a statement. Their achievement will, however, be subject to necessary approvals.” (PTI)
The most important thing is that coach Rahul Dravid has advised Arshdeep to turn to Kent to improve himself in the red ball. Arshdeep said about this, “I am excited to play red ball cricket in England and want to continue improving my skills in the first-class game. Arshdeep made his international debut in July last year with his T20 debut in England. Since then, he has been playing continuously in this format. At the same time, he made his ODI debut against New Zealand in November. He has played a total of 29 international matches for India in both formats.
