Mumbai Crime Branch has filed a supplementary charge sheet against Raj Kundra for making a porn film and releasing it through the app. This 1500-page supplementary chargesheet has been presented in Esplanade Court today (September 15, Wednesday) against Raj Kundra, husband of actress Shilpa Shetty and other accused in this case. This information has been given by news agency ANI.
The update till now is that Raj Kundra is in jail for making pornographic movies and downloading and releasing them in the app. He is in jail since 19 July 2021. He is yet to get bail. The bail application of Raj Kundra is now going to be heard on 16 September. On September 8, Raj Kundra’s lawyers appealed to the court of the next date. The court had accepted his appeal and fixed September 16 as the next date of hearing.

Investigation of Raj Kundra’s porn film case, in the hands of special team of Mumbai Crime Branch
An investigation team was formed by the Mumbai Crime Branch to investigate this entire matter. An ACP level officer is leading this team. This team is reporting the information related to its investigation to the senior officers of the Crime Branch. According to the Crime Branch police, apart from the 11 accused against whom investigation is going on so far, there is no information about anyone else being involved in this whole case.
This matter came to the fore when the team of Mumbai Crime Branch got information that in the name of making a web series in a bungalow in Madh area, the shooting of pornographic films is going on. On receiving the information, the police raided the said bungalow and arrested the cameraman, model, graphic designer and director during the shooting itself. After this the links were opened and the investigation of the case went up to Raj Kundra. Kundra and his key accomplice Thorpe were arrested on 19 July.
