In the quarter-finals of the Ranji Trophy, the first nine batsmen of the Bengal team made a world record by playing an innings of more than 50 runs.  Batting first, Bengal scored 773 for 7 against Jharkhand.  In which Sudip Kumar Gharami and Anustup Majumdar scored brilliant centuries.  (PC-PTI)

Bengal Sports Minister Manoj Tiwari also played an innings of 73 runs.  Apart from these, Captain Abhimanyu Easwaran 65, Abhishek Kumar Raman 61, Wicketkeeper Abhishek Porel 68. Shahbaz Ahmed 78, Sayan Shekhar Mandal 53 and Akash Deep also scored an unbeaten 53.  (PC-PTI)
