The Consortium of National Law Universities will begin the process of registration for the Common Law Admission Test, CLAT 2023 from today, August 8. Candidates preparing for CLAT for admission in law courses can register after the release of the application form. The application will be released on the official website consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Candidates can register online. CLAT Exam It is necessary to pass 12th for giving. For admission in UG course, 12th examination is required. They are eligible to apply for graduate program in CLAT. To apply for admission to PG course, candidates must have 50% marks in graduation. CLAT 2023 complete details and application dates will be made available soon on the official website.

What is the eligibility for CLAT 2023 UG program

Candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent examination with at least 45 percent marks. Relaxation is given in the case of candidates belonging to SC, ST category, the minimum passing marks of reserved category candidates is 40 percent. Students who are still appearing are also eligible to appear in CLAT exam.

Candidates should have LLB degree or equivalent examination with minimum 50% marks. The minimum passing marks in the case of reserved category, scheduled caste, scheduled tribe candidates is 45 percent. CLAT 2023 UG-PG Paper Pattern

The CLAT question paper consists of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) of one mark each. The duration of the exam will be two hours (120 minutes). There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Two hours (120 minutes) will be given in CLAT PG exam.
