The Indian team had got a target of only 270 runs but the team lost the match by 21 runs. After this defeat, questions are being raised on Team India. Former captain and veteran batsman Sunil Gavaskar then captain Rohit Sharma But a big comment has been made. Gavaskar looked annoyed that Rohit Sharma did not play the first ODI because he had gone to his wife’s brother’s wedding.
Sunil Gavaskar raised questions on Rohit Sharma in a conversation with Star Sports. He said that Rohit Sharma should have played in the first ODI as well. He said that there should not be reasons like family celebrations in the year of the World Cup. Gavaskar believes that a captain should be with the team continuously. It is better if there are no family gatherings in the year of the World Cup. Although Gavaskar said that if there is an emergency then that is a different matter.
