Kanpur School: Under the Uttar Pradesh government’s campaign RTE, the list of eligible candidates of the first phase has been issued in private schools of Kanpur. A total of 4190 children have been allotted schools in the first phase of the lottery, while after the approval of the DM Schools Allotment letter will be issued after which the children will have to go to the schools till April 4 and get admission.
On one hand, where 4190 children have been allotted seats in different schools of the city, on the other hand 1295 children have been dropped out of the lottery. According to statistics, a total of 9844 children had applied for the first phase, in which 5485 children were found eligible in the verification.
BSA Surjit Singh gave information
Talking to TV9 Bharatvarsh, BSA Surjit Kumar Singh said that in the list allotted for the first phase, parents can check the status of their seats from the login ID in the RTE portal. Along with this, applications for the second phase of admission have also been started, the last date of which has been kept till 6th April. After this, the second phase of applications will be verified till April 17 and after April 19, the lottery of eligible candidates will be issued.

BSA says that under the Right to Education, a campaign has been launched to get 100% admission in all private schools of Kanpur, which is also being constantly monitored. If any school hesitates to admit children, departmental action will also be taken against it Will be done Let’s tell that the state government is working to connect every class with education, in which the future of poor children is also getting bright under RTE.
Decision taken under RTE
On the other hand, after the application was rejected in the first phase, parents of dozens of students reached the BSA office and alleged that the application was rejected without any reason. Even on this, Surjit Kumar, after listening to the complaints of the parents, has instructed the Block Education Officer to re-verify so that if any eligible candidate is left out in the verification, he can also get admission under RTE.
