Sales of Ather 450 electric scooter with 116 km range up by 255%, know its price

Ather Energy is an Indian electric mobility startup with the Ather 450 electric scooter series in its portfolio. There are two models, which claim to offer great range and both of them are great in terms of power. Presently there is a fierce competition in the Indian electric two-wheeler market, with startups as well as several leading two-wheeler brands selling their electric scooters. However, it seems that the Indian customers are now getting more interested in the Ather 450 electric scooter as the company has registered a good growth in the sales of the scooter in the month of April.

Rushlane’s accordingIn the month of April, the electric vehicle maker has registered sales of 3,779 electric scooters, which was the highest ever sales of the company. The company’s year-on-year (YoY) sales have grown by 255%. Let us tell you, in April 2021, the company sold 1,064 Ather 450 scooters.

Recently, in an interview with Ather, Ather CEO Tarun Mehta spoke about his plans to add two new variants to the company’s existing 450 e-scooter lineup. plan disclosure did. He said that out of the two new variants, one variant will be designed for a longer range. Let us tell you that out of the two current variants of this lineup, the 450X claims to deliver a real life range of 85 km. The company says that the certified range of this scooter is 116 Km. Of course, the company will have to use a bigger battery pack for more range, due to which some changes can also be seen in the structure of the scooter.

Other variants of the upcoming variants may be offered with some minor exterior changes, which will include a new paint scheme. However, the design can be retained. For now, more details of these upcoming variants have been kept behind the scenes.

Talking about the current 450X and 450 Plus variants of Ather, the ex-showroom price of 450X electric scooter in Delhi is Rs 1,50,657 which includes FAME II subsidy.<!–
