A day after the conclusion of the monsoon session of the Haryana Legislative Assembly, Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda has attacked the state government. They recruitment of school teachers And the issue of unemployment has surrounded the BJP-JJP government. Former Chief Minister Hooda claimed that 38 thousand posts of teachers are lying vacant in the state. He said that on one hand young children are being forced to go on hunger strike to appoint teachers in their schools. On the other hand, the youth who have passed the Haryana Teachers Eligibility Test (HTET) have to wander from door to door for recruitment.
Bhupinder Hooda said, ‘The government is neither ready to listen to the youth nor is it recruiting teachers. There are neither teachers in schools nor doctors in hospitals. There are 10 thousand posts vacant in the health department but the government does not want to give employment to the youth. Taking a dig at the state government on the issue of unemployment, the former chief minister said, “As per CMIE data, the state is facing 26.9 per cent unemployment. According to NITI Aayog data, the unemployment rate of Haryana is 37 per cent higher than the national average. Apart from this, he also targeted the government regarding Agneepath.
Said this thing about Agneepath
Regarding the Agneepath scheme, Hooda said that it is neither in favor of the youth or the country. He said that due to non-recruitment during the pandemic, the army’s strength has already come down from 14 to 12 lakhs and in the coming few years it will be further reduced by half. The former CM said, ‘Lakhs of youth are queuing to become Agniveer, but the government should not see it as support. They are standing in the queue due to unemployment being at the peak in the country and Haryana. Even if the government will bring a job scheme for only four months instead of four years, the youth will be engaged in the queue.
When will the vacancies be filled?
In Haryana, the government is constantly under pressure from the opposition regarding the posts of teachers lying vacant. In such a situation, it is believed that in the coming days, the government can take out vacancies on the posts of teachers to reduce the rising unemployment and provide employment to the youth. Along with this, 10 thousand posts of health department can also be filled. Apart from this, assembly elections are to be held in Haryana in the coming two years. In such a situation, recruitment can be done on these posts before the election. However, so far no statement has come from the government regarding the recruitment.
