Umran Malik (Umran Malik) Due to his fast bowling, he is in the headlines. Showcasing sharp bowling, he not only played in IPL 2022 (IPL 2022) He made the fastest delivery of the season, but broke Jasprit Bumrah’s record in 2017 to become the youngest Indian bowler to take more than 20 wickets in an IPL season. Umran For IPL 2022 is nothing less than a dream. He holds the record for most wickets in a single season of IPL, while he is the fifth bowler to bowl the most dot balls in the tournament (143). In this season, he bowled the best against Gujarat Titans, taking five wickets for 25 runs. The bowler from Jammu and Kashmir showed the edge of his pace which is unmatched.

Till date, no Indian bowler has consistently crossed the 150kph mark in any format of cricket, due to which the former cricketers and veterans have made the 22-year-old player in view of the T20 World Cup 2022 to be held in Australia in October-November. Has been suggested to fast track in the set-up of Team India.

Tate was convinced of Umran Malik’s fitness

Umran’s speed sets him apart from other bowlers and is no longer limited to India’s boundaries. Even the likes of Lockie Ferguson (153.9kph), Enrique Norkhia (152.6kph) have seen Umran make up the difference in the speed-o-meter in IPL 2022. Former Australia fast bowler Shaun Tait, one of the fastest bowlers ever in the cricket world, has also been impressed by the intensity and fitness of the Sunrisers Hyderabad pacer.

Tait, who holds the record for the second-fastest delivery (161.1kph) in international cricket, said, “If he is hitting that speed early in his career, he has every chance of breaking the record.” It will be a good day when everything will be all right. But it will be difficult to beat Shoaib Akhtar’s record.

Umran Malik admires Tate

Shaun Tait told TV9 in an exclusive interview, ‘Umran bowls with high intensity, you can see that he just wants to bowl fast, entertain and take wickets. There is a natural aggression in his bowling and he seems to have the ability to handle it. The ball bowled by Umran against Delhi Capitals in IPL 2022 at a speed of 157kph is the second fastest delivery in the history of IPL. This is only behind former Rajasthan Royals pacer Tait’s 157.7kph in IPL 2011.

Though Umran came close to breaking Tait’s fastest delivery record, the Australian is pretty sure that the 22-year-old express pacer will break the record books if he keeps cranking up the pace. However, when it comes to surpassing the long-standing record of fastest delivery in international cricket, Tait said it was difficult for Umran to surpass Shoaib Akhtar’s bowling speed of 161.3 kmph against England in 2003. Will happen. Recently, Akhtar said that he will be happy if Umar breaks the record of bowling the fastest ball.

Umran Malik will take suggestions from Shoaib Akhtar!

The former cricketer has been praising and sharing his opinion and advice on how Umar should be groomed for the future. While many have said that they need to develop variations, others have said that they need to work on their control. Although Umran is currently the second-highest wicket-taker among fast bowlers and fourth overall in IPL 2022, the Jammu Express has often faced criticism whenever he proves to be expensive in his bowling. Though Tate is unaware of what critics have to say about Umran, he said that he should not hesitate to take suggestions and advice from Shoaib Akhtar. Tate said, ‘Umran must be getting a lot of advice, they are going to be a hot property right now, my advice is to identify themselves and think about the path they want to walk, not this Think about what other people expect from them.

Tate said – take care of your body, Umran

The Australian legend finally said, ‘We don’t know how long someone’s career will be, but I would ask him to be professional with his body and take care of it. Also, don’t hesitate to call Shoaib Akhtar for some advice. My career had progressed through T20 cricket, but Umran would play more cricket than me. They have Dale Steyn in Sunrisers Hyderabad, so that’s another big thing for them to learn.

After rocking the IPL stage, Umran is expected to be included in the Indian squad that will play a five-match T20I series against South Africa and a two-match T20I series against Ireland. The All India Selection Committee will meet on 22 May to select the squad for the South Africa and Ireland T20Is, while also selecting the squad for the remaining fifth Test and three T20Is against England.
