Sony Entertainment Television’s show ‘India’s Best Dancer 2’ got the best 5 finalists, see full list

The grand finale of this show is going to happen on 9th January 2022, while India will get its “best ka next” avatar. India’s Best Dancer Season 2 will also air this weekend at 8 pm only on Sony Entertainment Television.

Sony Entertainment Television’s ultimate dance reality show India’s Best Dancer, which saw a tremendous success in its first season, is back with its second season this year to find the ‘next avatar of the best’. Every week the contestants of India’s Best Dancer Season 2 showed their power moves and unique dance acts to the judges of the show i.e. ENT (Entertainment, Nuance, Technique) Specialists – Malaika Arora, Terence Lewis and Geeta Kapoor and now This show has got its ‘Best 5’ finalists.

With this, now the contestants Gaurav Sarwan and his choreographer Rupesh Soni, Soumya Kamle and his choreographer Vartika Jha, Zamrud and his choreographer Sonali Kar, Rosa Rana and her choreographers Sanam Johar and Raktim Thakuria and their choreographer Aryan Patra won the coveted trophy of India’s Best Dancer 2. Contestant- 1

Known for his popping, animation and locking skills, Gaurav Sarwan of Jaipur started his career at the age of 7. Today he runs his own dance academy. She has won the hearts of the judges and audience time and again with her extraordinary dance moves. Regarding making my place in Best 5, Sarvan says, “I am grateful to a platform like India’s Best Dancer, who gave me an opportunity to showcase my dance techniques here. It is a blessing to have a choreographer like Rupesh sir, who continues to support me in this journey.”

Contestants – 2

Pune’s Saumya Kamble has no match for belly dancing and freestyle moves. His father wanted Soumya to become a doctor, while his mother wanted him to become a dancer. In such a situation, this beautiful belly and freestyle dancer has very well maintained a balance between the two. So much so that recently her father even called her ‘India’s best daughter’. Saumya received a lot of praise for her charming and natural dance acts and recently she was gifted a belly dancing coin belt by Bollywood’s best dancer Nora Fatehi. Says Soumya, “I never thought that I would come this far. I am very happy to be included in Best 5, because by being a part of this show, I am fulfilling my mother’s dream in a way. Today I am here only because of his support. Today my father also has a smile on his face. It’s really a happy feeling.”

Everyone is aware of the ability of Roza Rana of Odisha. Known for her Bollywood freestyle and open style techniques, Roza is proving herself in every episode. Known for her explosive and exciting performances, Roza has been a favorite of the judges. Roza says, “I always wanted to represent my state Odisha in front of the whole country. I believe that I have reached ‘Best 5’ only because of the blessings of my parents. I am also grateful to my choreographer Sanam, who has always been with me and I would also like to thank the audience for their support.”

Raktim Thakuria from Assam is not only famous for his open style choreography but also known as a certain kind of person who is not at all interested in romance, though a large number of girls are fans of Raktim. He is spreading his flame in this show from the very beginning. His performance has always been different from the rest, seeing which brings a smile on everyone’s faces. On making it to Best 5 Raktim Thakuria says, “I am very happy to be in Best 5. Somewhere I always dreamed of making it to the finals of a reality show and today, on stage like India’s Best Dancer, it feels like my dream has come true. I am also very happy for my fellow contestants who have made their place in the final with me.

Hailing from Kerala, Zamrud is known for his freestyle, semi classical, Bollywood, lyrical and hip hop dance styles. Zamrud, who won the hearts of the judges during the audition round, gave some memorable performances in the show. For one act, she danced beautifully taking the form of a woman. Says Zamrood, “I am very excited to reach the finale. For this I thank God. It has really been a satisfying journey. Many thanks to the audience for their love and support. I am very happy to see my fellow contestants join this journey, who have become more than a family for me now.”
